Three original, hand-pulled tree ring prints made from a 372-year-old Sitka spruce tree from the Oregon Coast.
Every tree tells a story. Its rings record centuries of growth, changing seasons, and the passage of time. Through my printmaking process, I preserve that history in a work of art that brings nature into your home.
These prints are created directly from the wood of a fallen Sitka spruce tree. I carefully prepare the wood's surface, apply ink, and press paper against the tree by hand, revealing the intricate patterns of its annual growth rings. Each impression captures the character of the original tree, making every print subtly unique.
Displayed together, the three panels form a striking, large-scale composition that works beautifully above a sofa, bed, console, or dining table.
