This 18x24 inch original woodcut print was created from the cross-section of an old growth Juniper tree found in Boulder, Utah, near the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. The tree reveals centuries of history, reflecting the resilience of a tree rooted in one of the most dramatic landscapes of the American Southwest.

Hand-printed using a traditional woodcut technique, this piece preserves every intricate detail of the Juniper’s growth: the dense grain, natural textures, and weathered character formed by harsh seasons of desert sun, wind, and snow. Each print is signed by the artist and produced as a one-of-a-kind impression.

  • Artwork Size: 24 x 36 inches

  • Medium: Original tree ring impression on fine art paper

  • Edition: Hand-pulled, one-of-a-kind woodcut print

  • Signature: Signed by the artist for authenticity

Junipers have long symbolized endurance, protection, and timeless wisdom. This artwork captures those qualities while connecting you to the wild beauty of the Grand Staircase region. Its bold scale and natural geometry make it a powerful centerpiece for modern, rustic, or nature-inspired interiors.

Each piece is carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery, ready to be framed and enjoyed as a lasting testament to the spirit of the desert.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping is free for basic economy rates. Upgraded shipping available to select when you check out.

I sign each print because I stand by my work. If you’re not happy with the artwork I will give you a full refund or exchange, no questions asked.

Framing

I’m not currently shipping with frames because I’ve had too many frames get damaged during shipping. But don’t hesitate to ask me for suggestions.

The paper I use for my pieces is high quality and does not require glass over it when framing. Most standard sized frames will work just fine. If you take the artwork to a professional framer, I would suggest asking for dry mounting.
