Blue botanicals with roots.

This print is made from Ferns that I personally gathered from a variety of natural landscapes. Each specimen was pressed and dried, before being pressed as a monoprint to make this image. Because these prints are made from real plants, I'm not able to make endless original prints, (hence the term, monoprint). So, this listing is for a gallery quality giclee print of the original. Original botanical prints are also available upon request.

I travel to meaningful places to find plant specimens that represent the unique ecology of that location. In a way, I’m just publishing the story of a place as written by nature. I sign each print because I stand by my work. If you’re not happy with the artwork I will give you a full refund, no questions asked.

****I’m more than happy to customize the color and the paper size for you. Just send me a message.

****If you have a plant you’d like me to make art from just send me a message, I’m happy to do personalized pieces if possible.

****I’m not currently shipping with frames because I’ve had too many frames get damaged during shipping. But don’t hesitate to ask me for suggestions.

The paper I use for my pieces is high quality and does not require glass over it when framing. Most standard sized frames will work just fine. If you take the artwork to a professional framer, I would suggest asking for dry mounting.
