Corralled is a monoprint composed from hundreds of fragments of vintage letterpress type—each piece originally carved to carry words, now gathered into an abstract, organic form. Printed in a deep, earthy green, the shapes assemble into something that feels both structured and wild, like a cluster of ideas held loosely together.

The composition has the energy of motion coming to rest—scattered blocks pulled inward, gathered, and contained. The irregular edges, tiny gaps, and worn surfaces of the old type create a textured landscape that feels almost topographical. It evokes the sense of something being rounded up: memories, thoughts, stories, or even the remnants of a once-functional printing system finding new life in a contemporary context.
