Landslide is a monoprint built from salvaged fragments of vintage letterpress type—tiny blocks once arranged with precision, now cascading in a tumbling, organic descent. Printed in a deep, earthy green, the composition carries the unmistakable sense of downward movement: pieces slipping, sliding, and collecting in clusters as though the entire structure has given way.

The upper sections hold remnants of order—rows that still remember their original alignment—while the lower half dissolves into fragments scattered and piled upon one another. The irregular spacing, the broken lines, and the shifting density mimic the natural patterns of collapse, where gravity pulls everything toward a new configuration.

In Landslide, the worn textures of the type blocks become part of the story, emphasizing the erosion of structure and the inevitability of movement. It’s a portrait of change—sudden, messy, and unstoppable—captured through tools historically meant to hold ideas in place.
